Boutique Tuition Centre Singapore

about us

Here at The Academic Workshop

Here at AWS, we provide much more than just tuition or enrichment classes. We believe that classrooms are not merely areas for study, but spaces to dream big, be challenged and be nurtured.

OUR 2025 RESULTS

Every figure below is the centre’s own cohort result for the stated year and paper. No selective sampling: these are whole-cohort numbers, reported with the year, the level and the basis of measurement.

Result	What it measures	Level & paper	Year
94.2% scored A or B	Whole cohort	‘A’ Level General Paper & English	2025
54.2% scored A	Whole cohort	‘A’ Level General Paper & English	2025
86% scored A	Students enrolled from Term 1 onwards	‘A’ Level General Paper & English	2025
75% scored AL1 or AL2	Whole cohort	PSLE English	2025
51% scored AL1 or AL2	Whole cohort	PSLE English	2024

How we measure. Percentages are calculated across the full cohort sitting the paper in that year, not a selected subset. The 86% figure is stated separately because it counts only students who joined by Term 1 — a full year of teaching rather than a crash course. Results vary by student and are not a guarantee of any individual outcome.

Our Programmes

Here at The Academic Workshop

Primary

Our English programme meets assessments with a curriculum targeting written and oral skills. Mock tests ensure optimal results.

SECONDARY ‘O’ LEVELS

Our 'O' Level Programme is carefully curated to provide each level from Sec 1 to Sec 4 a progressive skill set to cope with the demands.

SECONDARY IP AND IB LEVEL

Our IP and IB programmes boast an accelerated programme that caters to the needs of specific IP and IB schools.

Junior College

Our 'A' Level General Paper programme covers a comprehensive range of topics and skills set required for the exam. Every week, there will.

HOW WE TEACH ENGLISH

English is taught here as a set of learnable skills, not as a talent a child either has or does not. Four things happen in every programme, from Primary 3 comprehension to ‘A’ Level General Paper.

“Many parents and students believe English cannot be studied — that it is purely talent. In our experience it can be taught systematically: with curated notes, clear frameworks and exam technique, grades improve reliably.”
Ms Evelyn See — Director & Co-Founder, The Academic Workshop

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ms. Eu is one of the best English teachers I’ve had. She explains things clearly, gives helpful feedback, and is always very encouraging—even when you’re unsure or make mistakes. Her support really helps you build confidence. I’ve improved a lot since joining her class. AWS is also a great tuition centre with a supportive and focused environment. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good English tuition!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started attending GP lessons conducted by Ms Evelyn See in JC2 and my grades improved tremendously in just a few months through her lessons. The notes provided during lessons included examples that helped broaden my knowledge on the various topics covered. Lessons were engaging which helped me remember clearly what was taught. Thank you Academic Workshop and Ms See for helping me with my GP!

Owner's reply
Thank you so very much Faith! We wish you all the best.
